About Us / Our Story
Bakson Ltd is a company based in Belgrade, Serbia, specialized in software development, IT consulting and system maintenance, providing professional services and business solutions to our clients worldwide since 2005.
Bakson started as a company that handled one product for Ticketmaster, the world biggest ticket-seller organization. Over time, continuous delivery, our openness and proficiency grew the number of products developed by Bakson, both for B2B and B2C Ticketmaster divisions, while the number of people working on various projects has increased tenfold.
Confirmation of trust and quality Bakson delivered represents the fact that over time Belgrade office expanded to include other positions such as Product and Project managers, together with Software Architects to oversee multiple Ticketmaster products cooked in Bakson, which is confirmation of true partnership that overcomes usual outsourcing models. This cultural genome is something we share with all companies we work with.
Bakson is an active member of the local IT community, helping companies, organizations and developers prosper. We organize hackathons, participate in conferences, work with universities and we are always there for our colleagues throughout the market.
How do we work?
We are proud of our self-sustaining teams, each of them organized to tackle challenging projects in various technologies. Specification of the project and monitoring of progress can be done by the team itself, Product Managers or Client. We strive towards complete inclusion of our team members and collaboration throughout internal and external teams so we are confident in our dedication and transparency from all parties. Our Product and Project managers as well as Software Architects are experienced (well versed) in complete project handling and delivering. We have a long history working with distributed, multinational teams, so we are eager to keep growing with other partners.
Our workflow is inspired by Agile and Lean principles, with fast feedback and very close interaction with product owners. The emphasis in our company is on collaboration and mutual support – sharing project workflow with globally distributed teams, and encouraging cultural and technical exchange between development groups.
