Software Engineer – NOMOQ team
About our Partner
We are hiring for the software development team of our client, exciting startup NOMOQ from Switzerland. NOMOQ primarily supplies craft beverage manufacturers with digitally printed aluminum beverage cans. By joining the team you will become part of a growth story: NOMOQ is a pioneer in the beverage packaging market and will use this opportunity to become the leading European player in this industry.
The Team
At NOMOQ, we’re not a traditional software company – we create real, physical products! Our digital printing technology brings custom aluminium cans to life, and our software team builds the platform that makes it all possible.
From craft brewers to well-known beverage brands, we help customers turn their creative ideas into stunning, ready-to-fill cans. Our web platform makes it easy to upload designs, collaborate with internal and external teams, and manage orders. Behind the scenes, we’ve implemented smart automations that help our production team work like a well-oiled machine.
While we love using no-code and low-code solutions for their speed and flexibility, we also develop custom solutions when needed to create the perfect experience. Think of us as the bridge between the digital world of web orders and the physical world of manufacturing – pretty unique, right? đźŹâś¨
The best part? At the end of the day, we can actually drink from what we help create! How cool is that? 🥤

HOW DO WE WORK?
The emphasis in our team is on collaboration and mutual support – sharing project workflow with globally distributed teams, contributing code to core global services and applications, and encouraging cultural exchange between development groups. Bakson encourages working from home, and the distributed nature of our teams requires us to have flexibility around working hours. We’re familiar with asynchronous and remote work. Our workflow is inspired by Agile and Lean principles. We’re not devoted to Scrum or any other framework, but are trying to work in small batches, with fast feedback and very close interaction with product owners. A Software Engineer in our company is a core writer of code, but also an inspirer and an exemplar to other developers…
Basically, what we care about is that you are a self-starter, happy to work with others, and prepared to adapt and do your best.
We aim for our hiring process to be as collaborative and realistic as possible, so it’ll be focused on writing and reviewing code – both written by you and by others.
